Association of Teacher Educators [ATE] Law and Legal Definition
The Association of Teacher Educators (ATE) is a national, individual membership organization established in 1920. The ATE aims improvement of teacher education for both school and campus-based teacher educators. The ATE represents its member’s interests before governmental agencies and educational organizations. The ATE has two voting seats on the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
