At-fault divorce is a form of divorce that requires proof by one party that the other party had committed a fault which is incompatible to the marriage. The grounds for marriage constitute faulty acts committed by one party which lays the basis for the termination of a marriage. Many jurisdictions around the world still require such proof of fault.
