Authorized Strength Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 USCS § 101 (Title 10, Armed Forces; Subtitle A, General Military Law; Part I, Organization And General Military Powers; Chapter 1, Definitions), the term "authorized strength" means “the largest number of members authorized to be in an armed force, a component, a branch, a grade, or any other category of the armed forces.”
