Automated Quotations System (NASDAQ – National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations System) was established by the National Association of Securities Dealers. It is a computerized system where the buyers and sellers list their buy and sell prices on over-the counter stocks, but does not have a trading floor which brings the buyers and sellers together.
