Auxiliary Aids [Aeronautics and Space] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 14 CFR 1259.101 (a) [Title 14 Aeronautics and Space; Chapter V National Aeronautics and Space Administration; Part 1259 National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program; Subpart 1 Basic Policy], the term field related to space means “any academic discipline or field of study (including the physical, natural and biological sciences, and engineering, space technology, education, economics, sociology, communications, planning, law, international affairs and public administration) which is concerned with or likely to improve the understanding, assessment, development and utilization of space.”
