Awarding Agency [Business Credit and Assistance] Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 143.3 [Title 13 -- Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter I -- Small Business Administration; Part 143 -- Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State and Local Governments; Subpart A – General], awarding agency means “(1) with respect to a grant, the Federal agency, and (2) with respect to a subgrant, the party that awarded the subgrant.”
