Ball Games Law and Legal Definition
Ball games are generally referred to games played using a ball. Ball games with regard to gaming or gambling are those games that can be considered as gambling that uses balls for playing.
Following is an example of a state statute {Louisiana [La. R.S. 4:10.3 (24)] which regulates the conduct of Ball games :
“Ball games. -The operator of any ball game must provide balls which are round, firm, smooth, and not broken or frayed. All games operated at any fair, carnival, amusement park, or any other place where games of chance or skill are made available for pay must be maintained in good condition and must be under the supervision of a competent operator at all times the game is in operation”.
