Batterer profile is a controlling individual who witnesses abuse and was abused as a child, has poor impulse control, suffers low self-esteem. A batterer profile can be a very charming and seductive early in a relationship, and then without apparent reason becomes explosive and angry. The batterer profile is an individual with poor impulse control. Such a person can turn angry immediately on a member of the household or romantic partner in a dating relationship. Batterers are more likely to abuse drugs or alcohol. They generally have poor communication skills, are frequently in denial, refuses to accept responsibility for own actions, blames others and emotionally dependent on partners.
