Below-Mud-Line or BML Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 216.215 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries Chapter Ii -- National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Commerce], the term below-mud-line or BML means that “the explosives are detonated below the water-mud interface, either inside or outside a pipe, other structure or cable.”
