“Below” can also refer to: earth, ground, floor, bottom, temperatures below freezing, hell, later part, or less than. The term when written as “figures mentioned below” points to the figure that is mentioned in the text in a later part or on a following page or lower on the same page. While mentioning about temperature, the term “below” means less than, or not as much. For example, the temperature dropped below 20 degree Celsius.
