Benefit Fraud Law and Legal Definition
Benefit fraud is a fraud committed against the government. The benefit fraud is committed by a person who fraudulently receives money from the government which actually s/he is not entitled to.
For example, a person who does not report all of his/her income details for the purpose of payment of income tax is said to commit the benefit fraud.
