Binational Commission [Education] Law and Legal Definition

According to 34 CFR 662.7 (c) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter VI -- Office of Postsecondary Education, Department of Education; Part 662 -- Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship Program; Subpart A – General], the term binational commission means “an educational and cultural commission established, through an agreement between the United States and either a foreign government or an international organization, to carry out functions in connection with the program covered by this part.”
