Blast Effect Law and Legal Definition
Blast effect means the destruction of or damage to structures and personnel by the force of an explosive blast on or above the surface of the ground. The blast effect is produced by coupling immense amounts of energy. Most of the destruction caused by a nuclear explosion is due to blast effects. Blast effect can be distinguished from the ground-shock effects of a projectile or charge that goes off beneath the surface.
