Breath Test Law and Legal Definition
Breath test is a scientific testing of a person’s breath to determine if s/he has consumed alcohol. The test reveals the alcohol level in the person’s blood. Such tests are performed on the air generated from the act of exhalation. A device known as breathalyzer is used to perform such tests. Legal breath tests are conducted to know if a person is driving under the influence of alcohol. Such tests are also known as breathalyzer tests.
