Budget Period Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 600.3 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter II Department of Energy; Subchapter H Assistance Regulations; Part 600 Financial Assistance Rules; Subpart A General], the term budget period means “the interval of time, specified in the award, into which a project is divided for budgeting and funding purposes.”
