Business Nonimmigrant Law and Legal Definition
A business nonimmigrant is an alien person coming to the U.S. temporarily to engage in commercial transactions. These commercial transactions do not amount to gainful employment in the U.S. Such alien person will be engaged in international commerce on behalf of a foreign firm and thus not employed in the US labor market. S/he gets no salary from any U.S. source.
