According to 49 USCS § 44113 [Title 49. Transportation; Subtitle VII. Aviation Programs; Part A. Air Commerce and Safety; Subpart III. Safety; Chapter 441. Registration and Recordation of Aircraft], Cape Town Treaty means the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment, as modified by the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment, signed at Rome on May 9, 2003.
