Carbon Sequestration Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 USCS § 7901 (1) [Title 22. Foreign Relations and Intercourse; Chapter 86. Climate Change Technology Deployment in Developing Countries], the term carbon sequestration means “the capture of carbon dioxide through terrestrial, geological, biological, or other means, which prevents the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.”
