Career Academy Law and Legal Definition
Career academy is a small learning community where a student receives academic instruction at his/ her assigned high school combined with work based learning opportunities at an industry center, or technical school or college.
Career academy is a specialized charter school established by a partnership between one or more local boards of education and a technical school or college. Usually, a career academy is approved by the state board of education.[ 2010 Ga. ALS 390, 1]
