Case Status Post Law and Legal Definition
Generally, a ‘case status post’ could refer to the status of a case following something or following an intervention. For example, pursuant to the Federal Rules of Procedure, many states require a status conference of attorneys with a judge. Here, the purpose of a case status post conference is to analyze the progress of such case and regarding further discovery procedures.
'Case status post' could also refer to "United States Citizenship and Immigration Services case status-post decision activity” in the context of Immigration Laws. Case status-post decision activity refers to the status of the case after the decision and further activities after the decision. However, the decision can be denial or approval. If the decision is an approval then the post-decision activities shall be in relation to the processing of the green card.
