Catoniana Regula Law and Legal Definition
Catoniana regula is a Latin term meaning, “rule attributed”. It is a principle governing the lapse of time. However, catoniana rule does not cure something void at the outset. It was typically used to set aside a bequest in which the testator did not have the requisite power or capacity when executing the will.
