Center for Sustainable Economies [USIP] Law and Legal Definition
The Center for Sustainable Economies (CSE) is a part of the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) Centers of Innovation that conducts research, identifies best practices, and develops new peacebuilding tools for professionals working on issues related to economics and conflict, and management of peace promotion. The CSE leads the USIP’s work on the economic dimensions of conflict management and peace promotion, and contributes to the body of knowledge relating to how economic programs are conceived and implemented in conflict zones.
