Central Criminal Court Act Law and Legal Definition
Central Criminal Court Act is an Act of Parliament passed by the Parliament of the United Kingdom in 1856. It allowed a crime committed outside London to be tried at the Central Criminal Court, the Old Bailey, rather than locally. The Act is popularly known as Palmer’s Act.
