Central Filing System [Agriculture] Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 735.3 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VII -- Farm Service Agency, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter C -- Regulations for Warehouses; Part 735 -- Regulations for the United States Warehouse Act; Subpart A -- General Provisions], central filing system (CFS) means “an electronic system operated and maintained by a provider, as a disinterested third party, authorized by DACO (District Agriculture Coordinating Officer) where information relating to warehouse receipts, USWA (United States Warehouse Act) documents and other electronic documents is recorded and maintained in a confidential and secure fashion independent of any outside influence or bias in action or appearance.”
