Certified Electronic Product Law and Legal Definition
According to 41 CFR 101-42.001 [Title 41 Public Contracts and Property Management; Subtitle C Federal Property Management Regulations System; Chapter 101 Federal Property Management Regulations; Subchapter H Utilization and Disposal; Part 101-42 Utilization and Disposal of Hazardous Materials and Certain Categories of Property], certified electronic product means any electronic product which bears the manufacturer's certification label or tag indicating that the product meets applicable radiation safety performance standards prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration under 21 CFR part 1020.
