Certified Local Government Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 470w (15), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 1A. Historic Sites, Buildings, Objects, and Antiquities; National Historic Preservation; General and Miscellaneous] the term certified local government means “a local government whose local historic preservation program has been certified pursuant to section 101(c) [16 USCS § 470a(c)].”
