Charge Nurse Law and Legal Definition
A charge nurse is a registered or licensed nurse on duty in a particular shift and who has the responsibility for coordination and supervision of nursing services during that shift. Nursing shifts may be either for 8 or 12 hours. A charge nurse is also called as a nurse manager.
