Choice Technical High School Law and Legal Definition
A choice technical high school is a high school designed to prepare a high school student for post secondary education and for employment in a career field. A choice technical high school is a high school other than the high school to which a student is assigned by virtue of his/ her residence and attendance zone. A choice technical high school is operated by a local school system or a technical school or college. Additionally, a governance board composed of parents, employers, and representatives from the local board of education is entitled to operate a choice technical high school as a charter school.
