Client [Education] Law and Legal Definition
According to 34 CFR 377.5 [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter III -- Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Education; Part 377 -- Demonstration Projects to Increase Client Choice Program; Subpart A – General], the term client or eligible client means “an individual with a disability who is not currently receiving services under an individualized written rehabilitation program established through a designated State unit.”
