Climate Leaders Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 300.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter II -- Department of Energy; Subchapter B -- Climate Change; Part 300 -- Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program: General Guidelines], the term Climate Leaders means “the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) sponsored industry-government partnership that works with individual companies to develop long-term comprehensive climate change strategies. Certain Climate Leaders Partners have, working with EPA, set a corporate-wide greenhouse gas reduction goal and have inventoried their emissions to measure progress towards their goal.”
