Climate VISION Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 300.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter II -- Department of Energy; Subchapter B -- Climate Change; Part 300 -- Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program: General Guidelines], the term Climate VISION means the public-private partnership initiated pursuant to a Presidential directive issued in 2002 that aims to contribute to the President's goal of reducing greenhouse gas intensity through voluntary frameworks with industry. Climate VISION partners have signed an agreement with DOE to implement various climate-related actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
