A clinical treatment facility under juvenile law refers to a facility provided for the treatment of mentally ill children.
The following is an example of a state law on clinical treatment facility:
Clinical treatment facility must be with more than eight (8) beds designated by the Department of Juvenile Justice or the cabinet. The treatment program of such facilities shall be supervised by a qualified mental health professional. [KRS § 600.020]
