Closed Commission Meeting Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 18 CFR 375.202 (Title 18, Conservation Of Power And Water Resources Chapter I, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; Department Of Energy Subchapter W, Revised General Rules Part 375, The Commission;Subpart B, Procedures Under The Government In The Sunshine Act )the term Closed Commission Meeting means “a meeting which is closed when used in the context of a Commission meeting or a portion thereof, means that the public may not attend or observe the deliberations of the Commission during such meeting or portion of such meeting."
