Closed System Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 21 CFR 11.3 [Title 21 -- Food and Drugs; Chapter I -- Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services], closed system means an environment in which system access is controlled by persons who are responsible for the content of electronic records that are on the system.
