Closure Facility [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 851.3 (a) [Title 10 Energy; Chapter III Department of Energy; Part 851 Worker Safety and Health Program; Subpart A General Provisions], Closure Facility means “a facility that is non-operational and is, or is expected to be permanently closed and/or demolished, or title to which is expected to be transferred to another entity for reuse.”
