Co-occurring Conditions Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 300ff-88 [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 6a. The Public Health Service; HIV Health Care Services Program; General Provisions], co-occurring conditions means “one or more adverse health conditions in an individual with HIV/AIDS, without regard to whether the individual has AIDS and without regard to whether the conditions arise from HIV.”
