Cogeneration Facility Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 796 (18), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 12. Federal Regulation and Development of Power; Regulation of the Development of Water Power and Resources] the term “(A) "cogeneration facility" means a facility which produces--
(i) electric energy, and
(ii) steam or forms of useful energy (such as heat) which are used for industrial, commercial, heating, or cooling purposes.”
