Commercial treaty refers to a formal agreement entered between two states for the purpose of establishing mutual rights and regulations. The mutual rights and regulations are formulated regarding conditions of trade. In a commercial treaty, the states establish the terms and conditions of mutual trade. The treaty generally includes accord on applicable tariff, dispute resolution, duty privileges, ownership, and sale of property. A commercial treaty is usually entered in the form of a bilateral agreement.
