Common Horsepower Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 50 CFR 80.1 [Title 50 -- Wildlife and Fisheries, Chapter I -- United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of The Interior], the term Common horsepower refers to “any size motor that can be reasonably accommodated on the body of water slated for development.”
