Community Recovery Law and Legal Definition
Community recovery means the process of evaluating the effects of an incident of national significance and restoring the emotional, social, economic and physical wellbeing of the people. It also includes the process of defining resources, developing and implementing a course of action to restore and revitalize the socioeconomic and physical structure of a community. As part of community recovery personal support, resources, specialist counseling, and mental health services are provided.
