Commuting Student Law and Legal Definition
Commuting student means a registered full-time student at a college, university, or other postsecondary educational institution. A commuting student generally lives apart from the property designated as the ‘employment site. S/he also travels between his/her residence and the designated employment site on a regular, but not necessarily on a daily basis [Cal Rev & Tax Code § 24343.5 (b)(3)].
