Compliance costs are the costs incurred by the taxpayer for making arrangements for the payment of taxes and for meeting the statutory compliance requirements for such payment. Compliance costs include the value of the taxpayer's time and resources, along with any out-of-pocket costs paid to tax preparers and other tax advisors, etc.
