Computer Integrated Courtroom Law and Legal Definition
Computer Integrated Courtroom (“CIC”) is a courtroom which uses computer terminals, a software system, and computer-aided transcription to display the translation of a court reporter's notes immediately on computer terminals located at the judge's bench and counsel tables. This system allows for trial proceedings, depositions, witness statements, transcripts, and interrogatories to be available in the courtroom within seconds.
