Conceal Law and Legal Definition
Conceal means to keep from being seen, found, observed, or discovered. Something hidden from ordinary observation. For example,carrying a concealed weapon is illegal in most states unless the party with the weapon is a law enforcement officer or has a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
The following is an example of a caselaw defining conceal:
Conceal is defined as "to prevent disclosure or recognition of; avoid revelation of; refrain from revealing; withhold knowledge of; drawn attention from; treat so as to be unnoticed." United States v. Kilbride, 2009 U.S. App. LEXIS 23722 (9th Cir. Ariz. Oct. 28, 2009)
