Confidence trick is a type of fraud committed against a person or a group of persons. By confidence tricks a person defrauds another by gaining his/her confidence. Confidence trick is also known as bamboozle or swindle. In this type of defrauding methods the victim is known as the mark, and the trickster is known as the confidence man.
