Congressional Black Caucus Law and Legal Definition
Congressional Black Caucus is an organization representing African-American members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The organization addresses legislative concerns of African Americans and other minority citizens, such as employment, welfare reform, minority business development, and expanded educational opportunities. The Congressional Black Caucus aims to positively influence the course of events pertinent to African-Americans and others of similar experience and situation, and to achieve greater equity for persons of African descent in the design and content of domestic and international programs and services.
