Congressional Budget Office [CBO] Law and Legal Definition
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is the primary federal agency within Congress empowered to review congressional budgets and other legislative initiatives with budgetary significances. The CBO provides economic data to Congress. It was created by the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.
