Consensus Standards Development Process Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 5402 [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 70. Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards], consensus standards development process means “the process by which additions, revisions, and interpretations to the Federal manufactured home construction and safety standards and enforcement regulations shall be developed and recommended to the Secretary by the consensus committee.”
