Consolidated Grant Law and Legal Definition
According to 40 CFR 35.102 [Title 40 -- Protection of Environment; Chapter I -- Environmental Protection Agency; Subchapter B -- Grants and Other Federal Assistance; Part 35 -- State and Local Assistance; Subpart A -- Environmental Program Grants; General], consolidated grant is “a single grant made to a recipient consolidating funds from more than one environmental grant program. After the award is made, recipients must account for grant funds in accordance with the funds' original environmental program sources. Consolidated grants are not Performance Partnership Grants.”
