Constituent Corporation Law and Legal Definition
Constituent corporation is a corporation merged or consolidated with one or more other corporations. The state of California defines a constituent corporation as follows:
“Constituent corporation” means a corporation which is merged with or into one or more other corporations or one or more other business entities and includes a surviving corporation. [Cal Corp Code § 161]
